WHO IS POLYCO

The Polyolefin Recycling Company, trading as POLYCO, is a not-for-profit industry body formed by the polyolefin converters themselves to promote the collection and recycling of post-consumer polyolefin packaging containers and other items.

ABOUT POLYOLEFINS

Polyolefins is the collective term for the kinds of plastics that include polyethylene, namely low-density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP).

OUR PROJECTS

POLYCO has already invested more than R17 million into various separation, collection, sorting and recycling projects around South Africa, in order to increase the recycling rate of polyolefin plastics.  Take a look at some of the POLYCO projects from the past few years.
